What "production-ready" means here, exactly
It is a phrase people use loosely, so here is the version you are buying. When we are finished, all of the following are true, and you can verify every one of them without taking our word for it:
- It restarts by itself if it crashes, and you can watch it do that.
- If an update breaks it, the last working version goes back within minutes — and we do that once in front of you before calling the job finished.
- Your data is backed up nightly, and we have restored a backup into a scratch environment to prove the backup works.
- The padlock in the browser renews on its own instead of expiring on a Sunday.
- When something goes wrong there is a written record of what happened, so nobody is guessing a week later.
- Deploying is one command, and so is undoing a deploy.
- Secrets are out of the repository and out of the browser bundle.
In our words, if you want them
A containerised deploy, automatic TLS, health checks, structured logs with a request id threaded through, a tested restore, one-command deploy and rollback, and a runbook written for a competent stranger.
If none of that meant anything to you, that is fine — the list above it is the same thing in plain words, and the runbook is written for the person who reads that list.
Why it is quoted after a check, not before
Nobody can price this honestly from a description. The difference between an app that needs three days and one that needs three weeks is invisible from the outside, and a quote given without looking is either padded or about to be revised upward.
So it goes: the check first, then one number for the work, agreed before anything starts. If the number is more than you want to spend, you still have the report, and the ordered list means you can do the top three items and stop.
What we do not do
We do not rewrite your app because we would have built it differently. The code that is there is the code that works and that your users are already using; a rewrite is a new project with new bugs, and it is almost never what this problem needs.
We also do not sell an uptime guarantee. Anyone who does is selling you a refund of your own money for an outage you still had.
Questions people ask first
Can you do this without the $450 check first?
Not for a fixed price, no. Without reading it we would either overcharge you to cover the unknown or come back mid-way asking for more, and both are worse for you than spending $450 to find out.
How long does it take?
Usually one to three weeks from the agreed quote, depending on what the check found. The quote states the number of days, and the work lands in pieces you can open and use rather than in one silent delivery at the end.
Do you take over the code?
No. The repository, the servers, the domains and the documentation are yours throughout, and they are handed over as we go rather than at the end. There is no point at which stopping leaves you without what has been built.
Will it still work with Lovable, Bolt or whatever built it?
Usually, and we tell you before starting if not. Where a generator and a production setup genuinely conflict, the conflict is named in the quote with both options priced — it is your call, not ours.
